<p>The seminar will involve guided visits to John McGahern&#8217;s homeplaces in Aughawillian, Mohill and Ballinamore.  Just up the street from Hamills B&amp;B is Pat Mc&#8217;s garage and Maggies shop.  John described his aunt&#8217;s shop beside the railway station and opposite his uncle&#8217;s garage.  A grantie seat is located in the square with the inscription &#8216;that they may face the rising sun&#8217;.</p>
